Grace Owen is a career coach, speaker and author. Her first book The Career Itch: 4 Steps for Taking Control of What You Do Next is available from January 2010. In it Grace presents fresh, new insights to the old problem of what to do when the inner restlessness about the direction of your career takes hold. Having experienced The Career Itch herself, on Millennium eve, it took her on a journey of discovery that enabled her to take control of what she did next in her career and ultimately led Grace to becoming a career coach. Having equipped many people to navigate The Career Itch process successfully, she has written this book to help you.
Grace's book offers advice, encouragement and hope to the many people that are unhappy at work and explains how by paying attention to this inner restlessness you can start to take control of what you do next. It also includes client case studies and plenty of ‘Things for You to Do’ , with 10% of book proceeds going to Aids Orphans charities.

Come and hear Grace talk about The Career Itch and find out how to Boost Your Career in 2010. A recent client said "Grace's talk at City Hall touched and inspired women. Her own journey through life made her easy to relate to and many of our attendees felt that she gave them the drive that they need to get their careers and life moving in a positive direction. We would love to have her talk again at one of our future events!" Greater London Authority, Women's Network
Grace is passionate about voluntary work and currently mentors emerging leaders in cross sector organisations. Recently she was a trustee for a charity committed to empowering the disadvantaged in Kotei, a small village in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa. She was also chair of a management committee pioneering a Youth Café project in northeast London that provides a safe place for young people.
The two men in Grace’s life are husband Simon and three year old son Benjamin. Grace regularly ‘works out’ by being pampered (favourites are deep tissue massage, manicure and pedicure), which she is convinced must be the best form of exercise!
